I'm trying to look up some lunch options at DCA, and I found this place on alleras.net, their mediterranean skewers sounds great but... in the Disney website, in the DCA map it doesn't show.
Is it new? :confused3
Which are good options for lunch in DCA?

It is fairly new and this place and Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta are where the Burger Invasion and Pizza Oo Mow Mow were. They are next to Goofy's Sky School (formerly Mulholland Madness).
We ate at the grill in December and thought it was good - very good. The rice was fairly flavorful and the Cucumber salad was fine. The meats were very good as were the sauces BUT ask for your sauce on the side. They fix the plate and then ladle the sauce on top of everything, something I have never had at any Mediterranean restaurant. They serve on glass plates with real silverware or stainlessware.

I had the tofu veggie skewer and it was good. Far too much food for just me, though! The rice was delicious. The chunks of tofu were really big (I have a *thing* about BIG food, it bugs me) but I cut them up and they tasted fine.

The pita was good, but it wasn't a big part of the meal for me b/c it was just part of the "too much food" aspect of the meal.

Even though it lists to choose A sauce, you can actually get all four sauces if you'd like, for no extra cost. I got two of the sauces, they were served on the side, and it was nice to be able to dip as I wished.

Thanks! it seems a good option, so I'm writing it down. Another question, I have 2 kids, 10 & 12 and they eat almost as adults, so I can't order from the kids menu. Have someone try it with kids? how did they like it? My kids are regular kids in terms of food (DS10 loves his pizza & hamburguers, DD12 is more daring).
thanks again :thumbsup2

My kids are 10 & 12 also and can be picky about what they eat. They looked at DH's food from the Paradise Garden Grill and wrinkled up their noses and declared they wouldn't want that stuff. That was ok though because the Boardwalk Pasta and Pizza place is right next door and shares the same dining space, so the boys got pasta dishes from there.

I just noticed that! The area looks amazing! Plenty of choices for everyone and my kids also love pasta & pizza (what a surprise!)
Thanks!!!

Great options. We ate in that area twice last week. My kids were divided between both Boardwalk and Paradise Grill's choices. My sons loved the pasta and my daughters preferred the skewers. Ask for the sauces on the side. You can get a sample cup of every sauce. I like the Italian chef salad at Boardwalk. Very fresh and lots of good ingredients.

I couldn't get over how they serve you on silverware and stoneware plates. They even come by and pick up your plates. Another great renovation by Disney. :thumbsup2
