Depends on when you will be in MK. The new Festival of Fantasy parade is scheduled to begin in mid-March. No afternoon parade until FoF.

Has there been any word yet if this is still going to be a 3:00 parade? I will be at MK on 3/26 and hoping the FoF parade has started, but also tried to plan FP+ around a 3:00 parade time just in case.

It will be the new MK "3 O'Clock Parade."

That parade doesn't "always" happen at 3 O'Clock, but that's it's most regular time.

I haven't heard a thing, but I also don't know why the time would change--it's somewhat traditional.

(Of course, we have no experience with this PARTICULAR parade,
but it makes sense that they'd time it about the same as in the past.)

The only afternoon parade over there next week is in Animal Kingdom at 3:45 pm. There is also the electrical parade I believe next Monday and Thursday! This parade IMO is the absolute best anyway.

Remind me why this is merely "sort of" a parade. I watched a bit of it just now on Youtube. It's got floats, characters, etc. It's a small parade, but it looks like a bona fide parade to me.

I guess because it's really a dance party disguised as a parade. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.) Plus it doesn't do the full parade route? Just my guesses.

It's not a criticism.
It's not billed as a "parade" by Disney.

Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It! Street Party is Disney's name for the show.

The only reason it moves down the street (to the accompaniment of a music track) is to reposition itself at the Hub.
That's where it stops and parks the floats so it can perform its actual show (or "Street Party.")
Around the Hub is where guests need to stand to see the show.

After the show is complete, all of the floats roll back up the street (back to its origin) to exit the park.

On another online forum where they have been discussing the new music and the soft opening (3/12) schedule, parade times are being noted as 4:00 and 6:30. These two times work out well for the Soundsational parade in DL and the discussion is that the 6:30 parade, later in the year, will have the Glow with the Show ears synced to it.

I would keep checking as you get closer to your visit. The schedule, costumes, and music are still the biggest secrets. There's still speculation FoF could also run at night when MSEP isn't scheduled.

It's well-known on the other forum that floats, such as this one from Tokyo Disneyland, will be in FoF:
