Parades?

How do I go about being the Grand Marshall for the parade at MGM Studios? How do the cast members choose people for this? Any advise would be welcomed, I just think it would be cool if this could be possible. It would be a real magical moment.

It is all luck. They are generally picked at park opening from the crowd waiting. If you ask, it almost guarantees it won't be you.

My suggestion, instead of being GM we got up from our spot just as the parade passed us (we were close to the exit). We followed the parade to the end. I told the kids they were part of the parade and to wave to everyone watching. They did, people waved back and they thought "they were the choosen"
