Going to Disneyland Paris for the first time in Oct from 6th to 9th.

Wondering the frequency of parades and fireworks in both parks during October (from my understanding off season).

Also, is park closing time similar to WDW where you can still queue up to closing time and shops stay open later as wander out.

Any recommendations for good and up-to-date info on the parks.

Thanks

Dreams fireworks show over the Castle has been confirmed as still continuing every night at park closing time (8pm when you are there in October). The main parade will still be taking place every day, and closer to the beginning of Halloween season you'll be able to see the park programme on the official DLP site, which will give the times and days of the special Halloween season events.

yes to both, the CMs will start gently steering you towards the park exit if you've outstayed your welcome at the end of the park day :).

what kind of information are you looking for?

Restaurant reviews; good locations to meet characters; best locations to view parades/fireworks; touring plans; interesting not to be missed things

opinion regarding meal plans; is it true have to book at time of booking, can't add on arrival?

Feel like I don't know enough compared to when I go to WDW

thanks for answer my other questions

DLRPMagic is a very good source for finding your way around DLP, it has restaurant reviews etc on it too.

you have to add a meal plan, if you're going to, at least 48 hours in advance of check-in. DLP meal plans aren't good value though, they are restrictive and they don't save you money.

Touring plans for DLP don't really exist, as the resort is very compact, everywhere is walkable (from gate of main park to gate of Studios is literally next door, a couple of minutes walk).

It's called DLPGuide now, but it's like a bible!! Have a good look around! DLPGuide.com
