Parades and Character Meals

We will be at Universal Studios and IOA on a Thursday and Friday. What character meals will be available on those days? My son loves Scooby Doo, the X-Men, Spiderman, and any other superhero.

Also, is there a daily parade at the parks? I read somewhere that there was a Marvel parade. Is that still going on?

There is a Marvel Superhero Parade every afternoon at Islands of Adventure all year long. There are also lots of characters in both IoA and Universal for meet and greet.

There may be other parades depending on when you are going. They have parades in February, October, and December.

Have breakfast at Islands of Adventure with Spider-Man® and the Cat in the Hat each Thursday through Sunday from park opening to 10:30 a.m. at Confisco Grille.

After meeting the Marvel Super Heroes and Dr. Seuss Characters, experience high-flying excitement on the “The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man” ride.

I don't know how far in advance. I would call the number listed in the url link I gave and ask them. It is not hard to get in though.

I was told to call 30 days in advance for character breakfasts.

We'll be there March 10 - 11. I had read about the Marvel parade, but I was afraid it didn't occur year round. My son will love it! His new favorite is Wolverine, so I can't wait to get his picture with him.

Does anyone know which other Marvel heroes/villains usually appear? So far, I've read that Storm, Rogue, Wolverine, Spiderman , and Captain America are usually there.

Does this meal include FOL access to Spiderman after your meal? I thought I've read that before and the Universal site is ambiguous on this point, so when I made reservations I asked the person taking the call said they've never heard of this. Any one have experiences with this?

They used to escort you over to Spiderman but the people who have gone lately haven't had that happen.
