Parade watching dos and dont's

We'll have at least one in a stroller next month. I had thought that the rule was no strollers along the parade route unless it was occupied. Isn't that the case? :confused3

Some parade do's and don't's that my family likes to follow are:

Do:
arrive early-it's rude to push people that were there before you
bring snacks-if you leave your seat for food your seat will get taken :mickeybar
speak up-if you got there early and someone sits in front of you, say something

Don't:
push people/sit in front of someone-it's your fault you were late, rushing, etc., don't ruin other peoples magical moments
lay down/take up too much room-then everyone around you shouldn't be that squished :)
be crabby-it's the happiest place on earth :wizard:

Hope I helped! :earsgirl:

MGM has a children's only section and the CM was pulling kids from the back to sit up front... it was great because every character that walked by shook most of the children in the children's section hand or gave them high 5's.

So for someone who has only watched from Mainstreet can anyone offer some SPECIFIC spots in other locations of the park that we can have a great seat at the parade? How do we know where the "front is", I think it's easy to see on Mainstreet where you can have an unobstructed view, I think it would be harder to gage that in other parts of the park. Any help would be MUCH appreciated.
Try to imagine walking up Main Street, over the bridge on the "upper" left corner of the hub into Liberty Square, then straight down toward Splash Mountain... or from Splash heading back the same way, depending on how many parades there are that day.

One hint: We noticed one night while waiting for Spectro in front of Pecos Bill's that you can generally spot where the rope will be. Look on the pavement for the round metal discs (about 2-3 inches wide). These are where the metal posts for the ropes go. Some are right along the porches in Frontierland -- some jut out several feet. Plunk down by one of those and when the CMs come to rope off the parade route you should be near the front!
