Parade Taping and Access question

The first day of parade taping will be on our last day in MK. I have rearranged the few things that I think would be most impacted. We have a few hours set aside for just doing some shopping and such. Will we be able to access the Emporium? How about Plaza Ice Cream?

Both will be available.

Neither, however, will be a good choice for shopping until after about 2:30-3:00pm...
if (IF) they happen to be actually taping the "PARADE" portion of the show that day.
(And, we have no way of knowing that at this point.)

If not taping parade, what else would they be taping?? We want to AVOID. Thanks!

1. Singing talent. Could be at the Castle, could be elsewhere on Main St. (but just a focused area.)
2. Still far too early to know anything to avoid.

Actually, we found last year that both taping days were awesome days to be at the MK. While Main Street and hub area were crowded, we saw some good parade taping near Liberty Tree Tavern area. Plus, great days to ride the rides particularly early in the morning. We got there early and the park was practically empty because folks either avoided or were camping out for taping spots.
