Parade Route in Magic Kingdom

I viewed a map and some people might find this helpful.

If you are in Adventureland or on the West side of Main Street during a parade, aren't you really gridlocked until the parade is over because the Frontierland RR Station is across the Parade Route and Main Street is blocked off at the Car Barn.

Some people might find this helpful and realize where they should be if they want to skip the parade.

I'm thinking that if someone really wants to skip the parade, they might want to be in Fantasyland or Tomorrowland.

Regardless, here's a look at the route-

A look at the Parade Route
Disney's (MS) Electrical Parade and the 3 O'Clock Parade both start near the Firehouse and exit near Splash Mtn.
MVMCP and MNSSHP Parades both start near Spalsh Mtn. and exit near the Firehouse.

Less crowded than on Main Street, but still spectacular viewing can be found near the Hall of Presidents,
or deep into Frontierland, past the Country Bears.
(But, you won't be able to see "The Magic, the Memories, and You" from there.)

IIRC, even after the ropes go up you can still scoot across the parade route until the parade is fairly close to you, or even walk right down the parade route. The CMs will only block you when it's getting close. So the actual amount of time that you are gridlocked is not very long, just enough time for a bathroom break and an ice cream or cold drink and maybe a quick look around one of the stores.

Does someone knw the approximate time from the start point it takes the parade, specifically the MNSSHP parade and the ELP to reach Main Street?

I cannot speak for MNSSHP because I have never seen it and I don't know where it starts from but the ELP basically starts on Main Street. I comes out of backstage between the Emporium and the Fire House and circles the little park as you enter Main Street and it is there. Probably about a minute, maybe. (See Robo's map above)

MNSSHP's parade starts in Frontierland, so will take about 10-15 minutes to reach the Hub and Main Street.

The last place you want to be during the parade is along the Rivers of America, especially right across from LTT as pictured above. There's a bottle neck right there and everyone coming from Tomorrowland and Fantasyland, headed for Frontierland, push their way through that area and it gets really crowded.

That map makes Magic Kingdom look so small when you think about it :confused3

The map only shows about HALF (or less) of MK's guest area.
(You don't see Fantasyland or Tomorrowland, or Haunted Mansion and a bit more.)

I only included the areas that involve the parade route,
and blew that up to show more detail.

if i stay in frontier land to see the electric parade at 9:00 and want to see mm+u
at 9:45 is this possible. where would i go

1- is this possible.

2- where would i go

1- Yes.

2- Somewhere in/near the Hub, with a clear view of the front of the Castle.

(Ignore the labelled circles on the map below.
I post it just to show the Hub area in front of the Castle.)
