parade prefered seating?

How do you get a preferd seat for any of the parades?

Mark your territory early, and dont budge. I am not beyond a 2 hour sit-in for my fave spot for the MK afternoon parade. Its a bench btw Adventure land and Liberty Sq. Right after we can ride Pirates, or Haunted

Yes that is what I meant.

Back a few months ago my family and I wear at MK with friends. My friends husband was upset (rightfully so but that another story) anyhow he went to a manager and was given all kinds of stuff, toys for his kids, fastpass's and also given tickets to sit on the bridge in the white benches to watch the late parade.

We ended up leaving early and never used them but on the way out we saw those benches roped off with signes that said reserved. SO my question is how do you get those seats normally?

Do they pick people randomly....

We had "VIP" seating for Spectro once. Basically, my husband (then-boyfriend) wanted to propose at WDW, and he called for information on any options or ideas they might have. He was told that there used to be an Engagements department, but there no longer was. The cast member was really helpful, talking to him for awhile about different ideas, and then she excused herself for a little while to talk to a manager, then came back to tell him we had been put on the VIP list for Spectromagic on a particular night!

We actually got engaged earlier that afternoon, but dinner at Portabello's and the special Spectro seating were a great way to top off the night!

I've heard of this at the Magic Kingdom for Spectro and an area at EPCOT for Illuminations. Anyone else know?

My DH and I were put on "the list" for the special section to watch Illuminations on our honeymoon. We had went to the Guest services that morning to make reservations for one of the fancy restaurants and the wonderful CM told us where and when to show up.

Before MYW packages there was special Seating for parades & fireworks for the Wishes Packages. they were great, & I wish that they would bring them back. We were in disney last week, and tried to sit in the same spot that we had specail seating at for Illuminations at the Morrocco Boat launch and it was roped off. I asked the CM how people got to sit there and she said that if you were a AAA member and booked through the Disney Travel Company you got special vouchers to sit down there. If your'e still looking for special places to sit I can tell you were we sat. We sat near were we were before whne we had the special tickets. They were

MK: Spectro/Fireworks-Rose Garden area by the Kodak Picture Spot
AK: The bridge that leads into Africa.
Epcot: The Morroco boat dock
MGM: Fantasmic Package.
