Parade from Carnation Cafe

Just wondering....Can you see the Parade from the seating area at Carnation Cafe? I was watching some youtube videos and it seems to be right next to the street. Of course, there'll be a wall of people standing to see it. But I was wondering what the viewing is like from here.

IMHO it's fun to be able to dine with a parade going by. But yes there are people preventing a clear view. Some watching others just walking by. If it is not your 1st time seeing the parade or you are not that concerned with having a perfect site line, I say go for it. Keep in mind where the parade starts from, either MS or SW, will determine what time it passes by CC.

As dsny1mom said, you can usually see parts of the parade, especially the tall parts, from the outdoor seating area for Carnations Cafe. You probably won't be able to see all (or most) of the ground-based elements, unless people happen to be moving by at the right moment. I liked watching the parade while eating, but I've already seen the parade enough times that missing the bottom half wasn't really a big deal.
