My friends know that I am about to leave for a trip to Disneyland. I have now had two people mention to me that the last week there was some kind of parade accident and someone may have actually been killed?! I really hope this isn't true - that would be so terrible for the family. Has anyone heard anything about this?

Thanks for the reply. Thank goodness no one was killed. We are going next week and rain is in the forecast. They will probably cancel parades now - I guess we will see when we get there. Thanks again.

We noticed yesterday CMs seemed to be even more particular about looking out for guest safety before and during parades.

I remember before the accident the Aladdin magic carpet float would do quick turns and go back and forth zipping by. When we saw the parade New Years Eve we noticed that the floats motion was very much subdued. Basically just going forward then stopping for Genie, Jasmine, and Aladdin to say hi.
