Ok, Guy's, I'm confused - nothing new there!!! I've searched the threads and now feel even more confused - sorry! We've never had an annual pass before SO if we buy one, as I understand it, we get to buy the dining card for $50 - is that right? Can anyone "in the know" tell me, as a DVC member how much is the PAP since the price rise this week, where do I get one and how do I go about getting the dining card?

Are the dining discounts of 20% applicable for lunch AND dinner? Is it ok just to order one PAP and buy DH a different ticket media given that we won't be back within the year? We aren't travelling until September so when would you advise buying?

I THINK i've read it right, but it seems to good to be true. Sorry to ask, but I AM in a muddle!!!

Thank you in anticipation.

DVC members PAP's are:-

Adult $415.36, Child $353.60 including tax

We have just bought ours for our trip in July

I am waiting for an email back from Disney regarding the DDE (Disney Dining Experience) card, as they seem to take 2 - 3 weeks to arrive so cannot but whilst in Orlando, but not sure if I can buy one if I only have annual pass vouchers. We are going again in December so at least I will be able to use it then (Although not on 24/25th Dec)

The discount seems to be 20% off Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner at 70 Restaurants around Disney.

As you say its too good to be true but great news.

Paul, Thanks for all the info. Where do I get the PAP with the DVC discount?

Thanks

Its well hidden on the DVC site

Log into the site and select the link Now Available - Members Received the BEST Walt Disney World Annual Pass Discount

About 1/3 down that page there is a link 'Purchase Your Annual Pass Now!'

This will take you to the disney ticketing website and the prices shown will be the DVC discounted prices, you will pay $10 for international shipping.

Passes take about 10 days to arrive, expecting ours on 14th Jan

I thought that the Dining card was just for Floridians...interested to hear more about this please :)

Fabulous news, this will save me a packet in August!

Thanks Tim :) Will be ordering ours tomorrow - looks like an excellent perk.

Update

DH had trouble getting through to DDE - they are so busy. This afternoon it switched to an answerphone where they gave you an email address. DH emailed them and gave them our number to call us.

They have just called back and we have ordered the DDE cards, you get two and they will be delivered in 6 - 8 weeks:)

Hi Everyone,

We purchased via the DVC members site, after receiving misleading info from MS. We shall also be purchasing the DDE card after the summer, as this pass is good for a year and we will get 31 days use from it over 2 holidays.

Hi,

I've phoned the US nummber for the DDE card (I'm calling from the UK), but had to leave a voicemail message and so far no-one's got back to me. Does anyone have there email address so I can email them?

Many thanks,

Katherine
