Paper tickets?

We recently ordered tickets from Undercover Tourist.... 10 day park hopper, no expire.

And then when we received them I was a little surprised to see that they were plain paper tickets. While we've never ordered from a ticket broker before (in the past we didn't realize it was possible and so ordered straight from Disney), we've always received the plastic credit-card type tickets. There is an FAQ section for the online broker that explains that tickets in the past all tickets were plastic, but that more recently all tickets are paper. This doesn't sound right to me-- especially since some of you have been mentioning the neat new ticket designs.

Does anyone have any info on this? Is there anything I should be worried about???

They are actually a Tyvec-kind of material and they last and last! I have some from several years ago that are like new.

I was going to say the same thing. The Paper tickets are supposedly water proof, fire proff, tear proof... The only "plastic" used anymore are the resort ID cards or anything bought at a resort that would be print on ID card stock. Everything else is the "paper" ticket.

The only way to get plastic media is to buy directly from WDW and have it mailed to you (MYW passes, party tickets, etc.). For instance, I bought an 8-day MYW ticket from WDW and was recently sent a hard plastic card.

For in-person transactions, either buying at the gate or turning in Will Call info, you will recieve the "paper" ones.
