We haven't been to Universal in a few years, so I'm not sure how this works. I bought tickets for my family through a 3rd party vendor, so I have them printed on 8 x 11 sheets of paper. We are staying at Royal Pacific and will arrive at 10:30 AM on check in day. Can the front desk at the hotel convert my paper tickets into plastic ones that we can put in our lanyards? How does EP work? I vaguely remember using a kiosk in the hotel lobby to get a card with my picture on it. Is this still the case?

I have paper as well. Photos are no longer taken. It's recommended you use zip protectors with lanyards.

You should be able to convert your 8x11 printed paper ticket to the smaller card sized one at the ticket desk at the hotel or at guest services just outside the parks. Note, they are not plastic, but also paper, just thicker and a bit more sturdy.

EP is your room key. You don't have to take a picture and get a print out like you used to do.

Thank you!

So even if our room isn't ready (we'll arrive mid-morning) will we still be able to get our room keys for EP?

Sorry for all the questions. I know WDW like the back of my hand but this will only be our second visit to US.

Yes. Also can be used the day you check out too.
