I would like to make some Disney window clings and I don't know what type of paper to use. I went to Staples and they had no idea what I was talking about, but directed me to the area. There are so many types of paper and of course none of them said "for window clings" on them. lol What type of paper would you recommend?

I went looking for a post on one of the boards where people had purchased window cling vinyl. I think you may have confused the sales person if you asked for paper. I believe they were purchasing packs of vinyl at places like Michaels.
If you search around on different boards and look for posts dealing with decorating windows I'm sure you'll run into the post.

Heres the thread I think you are referring to: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1849491

I just went to Staples and bought what I think you are looking for. The are called clear window decals and they are in the printer paper aisle by the specialty paper. It's in a lime green package and there is 10 sheets in the package, they cost $12.99. I hope this helps you :goodvibes

I bought mine @Office Depot...they are called, Window Decals :thumbsup2
I am concerned that I didn't purchase the right stuff @Office Depot...heres what the package says:
clear
inkjet
Window Decals
easy to print and apply
adheres to glass, mirrors and other smooth surfaces
fade resistant

Does this sound right? (Doesn't say anything about being repositional? I think I better go find my receipt! Ugh! :headache: )

That is right. I made some of these for a recent trip. Gave them to my sister and my nephews got to decorate their hotel window while she & her husband unpacked.

Cool! Can you give me some more info from the package? The brand name maybe? An item #?

I've never seen these! What a cool idea!! So you just print whatever you want and then cut them out? So cool!!:thumbsup2 I'm running to the store tomorrow. I like to decorate the windows in my classroom - now they will be custom, I'm sooo excited!

Great Idea! Thanks for the tip. We are headed to DL in oct and would love to decorate the windows of our hotel room with halloween mickey pumpkin heads! Thanks for the info!

Has anyone used the window clings in a Cricut machine with the Disney cartridge. Just curious- it would make some really cute clings for your car :)
