Hi everyone,

PD's wife here. Well PD came through the surgery with flying colors. He ended up with 6... yes 6 bypasses. The respirator was removed about 15 mins after he was in recovery and he was sitting up when I first saw him. His sense of humor was even funnier with all of the drugs he was on. By the time I left he was totally cleaned up and they were getting ready to get him sitting up in a chair. The doctor and staff are very pleased with his progress.

With love, luck and prayers he will be home by Tuesday/Wednesday and I'm sure back on the board for a limited engagement and then off to bed with him for rest and recovery.

Thank you all for your support and prayers. He knew how many people cared and that's what pulled him through.
