Are khakis for men dressy enough for Palo Brunch?

My husband generally wears (nice) khakis to brunch and has never been questioned before.

docker type pants should be fine. we saw a group of men handed "Palo pants" and going to change in the restroom for brunch when they arrived with (very nice actually) jeans on for brunch.

I was just there last week for brunch, and I did not see any men in suits. Most of the men had on khaki or docker style pants.
