Pants Ruined!

Does anyone have any experience with fixing pants ruined by bleach?
I accidentally got some bleach on black pants, and I was wondering if there was anyway to restore them. I tried black rit liquid dye, but that didn't work. Maybe the rit powder dye would work better.

I just use my black Sharpie and color it in....works like a charm!

Um a black sharpie might work but I am not sure. Black Sharpies scare me.... lol but I seriously do not think that anything will work. Just use the sharpie until you can buy a new pair of black pants.

Sharpies work great they are permanent and if it does start fading just re do it. I fixed a pair of my DH's Navy blue shorts with a Navy sharpie after they got splashed with bleach and you would never know it.

If the Sharpie doesn't work, I think it's time to buy a new pair.

I used a black sharpie also to fix my daughters black scuffed up cheapie payless ankle boots. Worked like a charm!

I thought DH was the only one to use a Sharpie on bleach spots. He did with some black pants too. Worked like a charm for him.

I just use my black Sharpie and color it in....works like a charm!

I've used black sharpies on many an item. Sometimes it works very well, sometimes not so much. It's worth a try though.
