I saw it too and I liked it Good story and loved the graphics and special effects. It was very well made. I can't wait until it's released on DVD.

It's pretty graphic -- during war time. It has won numerous awards. It is an awesome movie.

There are several violent scenes. I can't tell you exactly what happens in them, because my eyes were covered. I do have a question for those of you that have seen it- Why is it called "Pan's" Labyrinth? Wasn't the little girl's name Ofelia?

Because it's not Olivia's Labyrinth. She just discovered it. I think Pan is the creature-like figure she finds in the Labyrinth.

i believe it translates into "Pan" somehow.

i also enjoyed the movie. i had NO idea that it was subtitled tho, that was kind of a shock, but it really didn't matter after the movie started.

great movie, such a twisted ending.

Pan is a faun and is the Greek God of nature. A faun is a mythical creature with horns that resembles a goat below the waist and a human above the waist. Even though they never name him as Pan in the movie, the faun is Pan.

Btw, the movie is fantastic. The movie is very dark, but has a compelling story and the visuals are amazing.

just so you know, it's not a "kiddie" movie. i know it's talked about a lot as a Fairy Tale, but it's very dark and creepy. so for me it's , my kinda Fairy Tale! lol
