I've never read anything about being able to see the Eiffel Tower, and I'd be amazed if you could - it's a long way from DLP. But even so I believe the views are wonderful, and the photos I've seen so far confirm that. :)

I do remember reading somewhere that on a clear day you could see the Eiffel Tower, can't remember where I read it though. :earsgirl:

Thanks for this information, I will still be going on it though regardless of whether or not you can see it or not. My husband can go into Paris by himself if he wants to see it. I wont be wasting any of my precious disney holiday looking for the Eiffel tower. :dancer:

I've just read somewhere that you can see up to 20 kilometres from the balloon, so it's unlikely you'll be able to see the Eiffel Tower.

BTW it's quite confusing at times to know whether it's P or B of P AND B THOMPSON who is posting!!! :teeth:

Sorry Beverley - it wasn't a criticism!! :flower: It's just quite funny reading from the "same" poster that "my wife laughs at me all the time for looking at pictures of DLP" and in another that "My husband can go into Paris by himself"!!! :teeth:

It would be great if you want to sign Beverley, or even just B, at the end - we like to get to know people by their proper names. :goodvibes

I was up in the balloon at Easter twice with my daughter. She loved it.

The view on a clear day was fantastic and we could see for miles but I didnt spot the Eiffel tower.

The second time we went up it was a wee bit windy and I didnt enjoy that so much.

Jackie (Brians better half!!!!!)

I don't think you'll see the tower, but you never know :)
It was one of our highlights from the summer, definitely recommended :goodvibes

From Beverley

Went up in it myself in August, all I can say is WOW! Fabulous view but the Eiffel Tower and Paris are just a little too far away.

I wish I'd have done this now. We got in the queue and then I chickened out - it was alittle windy though and the balloon did seem to be bobbling around a little - well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!!

Diane :)

You should be able to see the Tower and further on a good day - this is the view of DLRP we got when the balloon was reaching it's peak height:
