We were scheduled to vacation in Disney in May and booked through David's. I did receive a letter stating I had 2 years to use my voucher since everything was shut down. I must have deleted the email!!! I have the original contract but I don't have the email with the Travel Credit Code. I did call my service provider and they can NOT retrieve the email. Am I screwed out of $3600???
 
Maybe. You would have to speak to David's. They might help. Or they might see this as a gif from above.

It's not "screwed out of" except in the sense that you did it to yourself. While David's has had bad moments, this isn't on them.
 
All you can do I contact David’s and see if they will reissue the email with the code,

If and when they do, take a screenshot! I have learned the hard way and down the same thing as you...not with a rental but with airline credit,

I don’t see why they can’t issue another code. You clearly have the original contract. They should be able to tell on their end that you clearly didn’t travel on the original contract and clearly didn’t rebook with the credit voucher. Should be an easy fix.

Why on earth wouldn't it be appropriate for them to issue another code or to think that accidentally deleting an email means the end of a voucher? David's would know that it was issued in the first place and whether it had or had not been redeemed. Void the old and issue a new. A simple email deletion isn't a reason to be out a vacation. If they don't take care of it then it's yet another reason to never use them.
 
Although I cannot guarantee they will help you, I am very hopeful that they will. I imagine it’s good business sense for them to maintain access to their sent emails. Good luck and please keep us posted, OP!

I agree. There should be no problem getting another copy of the code. It isn’t like paper money where if you lose it, you lose it. Just say you lost the email with the code and ask if they can resend it to you. Don’t worry.
