panicing about banked points

Should I have some kind of proof that I banked my points? I am ready to make reservations counting on my banked points but I don't have any evidence that I truly banked them. I remember banking them way before the deadline for my use year but I'm not sure if I ever got a banking confirmation number (is there such a thing?)...I don't think I have anything that proves I banked my points on time...I'm getting a little panicy...

When you called to bank, they should have given you a confirmation number; otherwise you receive no further confirmation. The chances are extremely high that your points are banked but if you have a concern just call MS and confirm.

The banking confirmation will be a 12 digit number preceded by the letters BK. You should save that number for reference, if ever needed. I have banked points many times, saved the number and never found a problem later, but it could happen.

As drusba mentioned, just call MS and double check to make sure the points were banked already.

That's one of the reasons I like to do things by email. It gives you a record and has saved my neck on more than one occasion.

Yeah I will probably follow Dean's advice....a few years back I had a reservation with waitlist, splitting room sizing during stay...took tons of phone calls...well during one of the calls I recall banking the points, even thought I had a number (never found one) and ended up lossing 11 points.....
