ok.. so i had this dream last night... where it RAINED AND RAINED when i went to DLRP.. and everything was shut... blah... and i wondered... does this happen often? are the ride closed if there's heavy rain/other bad weather? me and my friends aren't having much luck with traveling at the moment (ok.. so people i know tend to go on London tubes and/or New Orleans and Mexican holidays at quite the wrong times...)

DLRP was designed in mind of the weather and a large proportion of the attractions can run normally in spite of bad weather - thankfully! It's quite fun when it rains, in a strange sort of way! A quick trip to the nearest shop and we are wearing our bright yellow DLRP waterproof ponchos and ready for action - makes the warm dry rides that much better! There's also no better feeling during rainy cold weather than a meal in The Blur Lagoon and a ride, or 4, or Pirates of the Caribbean. You got me all excited now - just 7 weeks and 3 days to go - wooo hooo!

i keep getting myself all excited... (ok, does that sound kinda well... yeah... )too!

only 6 weeks!! woot woot!

We were there in Feb during Carnival season and there were lots of 'mini' parades. It snowed quite heavily & one of them was cancelled as the dancers were starting to slip (!). Apart from that it was just business usual!

yay! thanks BPTP... hey, if they need someone who can cope with _that_ weather i guess they should ask us northerners eh?

Even after heavy thunder storms we saw CM's out with "squeegies" moping up the walkways and pavements. They do everything possible to minimise the effects of the weather :)
