Ok - I have 3 night cruise booked on the dream for labor weekend - yesterday my friends decided they would join us for our anniversary trip - i checked the price and called them today with the details etc - they said they would love to come and would I book it for them. i just loggged onto the DCL website and -shock horror - its fully booked - not a cabin left in any catagory. Yesterday several options and today none - I am really dissapointed - totally my own fault of course. Do you think there is a chance people may cancel nearer the date and a cabin may become available?

I guess the moral of the story is: poop or get off the pot! In other words book it when you see it !!!! Oh well - heres hoping someone decides to cancel.....................

i shall still have a blast of course but it would have been great to share it with my friends.

Keep checking. Reservations come and go everyday. Sometimes people put holds on them for 24 hours and if they don't pay the deposit, they go back into the system.

Do not panic.

Check back frequently, especially the day after final payment is due. Rooms will probably open up.

Have you given DCL a call? I would say it is worth a shot, who knows what a person can do given the opportunity to help you out.

Check around with some TA's....they often have some inventory held (but not always).

Around the Paid In Full (PIF) date, which I believe is 90 days before the cruise -- a bunch of cabins will become available again, as people decide they can't make this cruise, or transfer their reservations to another date.

You are relying on the Disney website and you think it's accurate?? REALLY!!!

Pick up the phone, call and ask. Disney's IT is really pathetic so there's a good chance they have screwed up again :) I never trust anything it tells me. (The hotel booking site has told me more then once that "no moderates are available" but when I call it's "all of them are open which one would you like")

:worship:oh - yes I had not considered that option - I am marking that day on my calender and I shall hope for the best - especially as one of the other party is a 10 yr old - last night at dinner he was so excited about riding the aquaduck - thanks for everyones help.

The problem may not be sold out rooms, but lack of availability for the 10 yr old if that group is at its max. Keep trying though, that's how we managed to squeak on our 4/17/11 cruise with my 12 y.o. Spots would open and then close up again on a daily basis. Good luck.

We ran into the same problem, except we were the ones trying to join family and friends on a cruise in June.
As previously posted people and disney put cabins on courtesy hold and if deposits aren't made they go back in the into the lot.
We did get lucky and we are going on the cruise with our family and friends. Don't stop Dreamin'. My son was the same way when I mentioned that we might be going. He had me checking everyday.
Good luck!!

Keep trying and always call disney! We found out on our last cruise that the cruises sell out by life boats and kids activities...if they fill up, then it's "sold out".

I agree - call Disney in the morning as soon as they open the lines. (Still be prepared for a wait). Look online early EVERY morning.

It's amazing how fast things change.

Also this is the perfect time to check with a TA. As MJ said, they sometimes have other rooms. Plus they can keep an eye out for you.

Ditto.
I would most definately keep looking especially as it gets closer to final payment. Keep checking, something will open up.

Also, have you checked other online sites? Sometimes TAs take a block of rooms and keep for themselves to book.

Good luck!

I still see Oceanview rooms available for that cruise for 2 adults.....how many people are you trying to book for? Are you talking about the Sept 1 Dream cruise?

I just looked now and there is a cabin that will accomodate a 10 year old on Deck 9, Oceanview.

omg - whaaaattttt?? I have been on the DCL site and on the phone and nothing - the site is now down - gggrrrrrr i wanth this cruise so badly.:worship::worship::worship:

Hi

I am same boat as you....:sad2:

As I want to book for April as it was sold out and I have been on line for 6 weeks still nothing for us... as I want to have one room for 4 of us... none...

but there is one room available but only for 2 people:scared1: and the price went up just like triple price ...

One room available for 4 but too expensive I think something like Roy Suite room and price was too dear for us we can't afford it...

I don't think any chance now for us... I still continue online everyday morning and night... still nothing...:sad1::sad1:

I'm not suprised, some folks booked the Dream 2+ years in advance. Labor day really is pretty short notice.
