Panic Buying!

Not sure if anyone posted this yet, but the Facebook "experts" are saying only Tylenol (acetaminophen) is safe to take if you have the virus. So now everyone is panic buying that.

I read that today as well. I haven't seen the science behind that claim.

I don't keep up with FB but if you want to keep a fever down, acetaminophen, is a good choice and preferable to ibuprofen or aspirin. I read this in an article about keeping a medicine cabinet but can't provide a link for verification. Maybe the CDC or Mayo Clinic's websites?

If you are still out shopping, you might pick up a thermometer while they are in supply. Not 10 but you don’t want to suspect a fever & not have one

Haven't been able to find a thermometer in any store yet (between Arizona and So California). Even on Amazon, delivery is not available until April on most of them.

Many doctors will generally recommend acetaminophen over ibuprofen in general use unless you have inflammation you’re trying to take care of.

I’m in Arizona and can’t find one, either. Mine has a dying battery. Luckily Amazon does have the batteries I need for the thermometer I have.
