Happy Friday!

I'm at work and don't have the recipe but you might search some recipe sites for white chili.

sounds good. I've never seen it offered here.

Here's a link to a copycat Panera Chicken Chili - I've never tried Panera's version, so don't know how close this is: Panera Chicken Chili

My niece gave me this oh-so-easy White Chili recipe that DH prefers to "normal" chili (made a double batch yesterday for the freezer).

White Chili

4 boneless chicken breasts (or equivalent leftover cooked chicken)
1 - 10 oz. can chicken broth
1 - 48 oz. jar northern white beans, drained
1 - 16 oz. jar salsa (your choice of "spice level")
8 oz. Monterey Jack Cheese (shredded or sliced thin to melt easily)
2 tsp. cumin

Simmer chicken in broth until cooked through; remove & cool until you can shred or cube it. Add the remaining ingredients to the broth, stirring at medium low, until all cheese is melted.

If you prefer a spicier chili, use a hotter salsa -or- pepper jack cheese.

This is my Chili Blanco recipe
1 lb dry white northern bean
5 1/2 cups chicken broth
2 clove garlic, minced
1 large onion chopped
1T white pepper
1t salt
1Tdried oregano
1T ground cumin
1/2 t ground cloves
1 7oz can green chilies
5 cups diced cooked chicken
1T diced jalapeno pepper
8 flour tortillas

Soak beans in water to cover over night; drain. In crock pot or large kettle combine beans, chicken broth, garlic, onion white pepper, salt, oregano, cumin and cloves. Simmer covered for at least 5 hour 'til beans are tender. Stir in green chilies, chicken and up to 1 3/4 cup chicken broth if you like it soupier. Cover and simmer 1 hour. To serve line bowl with tortilla. Bowl it up and chow down. Suggested toppers are shredded cheese, sliced black olives, salsa, sour cream or diced avacado.

I personally pressure cook a whole chicken and use it and the broth for my dish. Enjoy
