Pandora visit in May

Hi there Disney fans. This is my 1st post on here as I need some advice.
Basically me my wife and 7yo daughter are going to Disney World for 14 nights on may 21st.Luckily this has fallen on the opening of Pandora at Animal Kingdom, but when do we go!!!!!??
We are about to organise our itinerary for the trip and thats the one park we can't place. I know weekends are busy but everyday after opening is going to be chaos at AK. Im thinking one morning in the week prior to pandora opening to see most of AK and then the following Tuesday after it opens on the afternoon-evening to see the lights and pandora's bio-illuminous display.
Anyone else at DW during Pandora opening?

Hi and welcome.
Yes we are there over opening. We arrive 18th and also doing AK before Pandora then going back again on the Tuesday after just for Pandora. It's my FP day tomorrow and I'm hoping that they will release Pandora soon and I will make amendments.

we'll be there in august...we planned this trip 6 years ago...had no idea we'd be lucky enough to be there for this expansion!!

Avatar land rides have been released today. I've got the river ride on opening morning. Just going to do that and leave! Then on the Tuesday were doing the flight one as they have put them both in the top tier so you can only have 1 FP! Opening day was the only other day we can fit it in so hope we can manage it or we do the 1 we have on the Tuesday and que for the other?!

We are going 19th May for two weeks, I have got fast passes for both the rides in Pandora, One on the 27th and one on the 28th, both in the evening I have booked other fast passes also and hoping it will be a bit quieter the later it gets. I found on the Website today that the Extra Magical Hours are 11pm-1am from the 27th until we leave on the 2nd June, I didn't look any further than the 1st as thats our last night. There is also a couple of am Extra Magical House 7-8am, far too early for my crew. I also managed to get a 2pm lunch reservation at Yak and Yetti on the 28th which was a surprise as I thought it would be ridiculously busy. We are staying at AKL so will go back to the resort if its unbearable.

It's all Disney Resorts that usually get Magic Hours. I too will be busing over from Beach Club!
