Back when this was a craze, my mom got the typical bracelet and lots of charms. Some of the dangling ones she really likes, so I was wondering about getting her a necklace to wear them on...but can you wear the bracelet charms on a necklace? Not sure how the "systems" work...

Simple answer - to the best of my knowledge based on my bracelets and the necklaces I've seen: yes

I wear mine on just a regular silver chain. But I have seen the Pandora necklaces in the store and they appear to be sized for the charms to fit.

I wear all my Pandoras on necklaces. You just have to worry about the charms getting over the clasp. Like the previous poster said, Pandora necklaces are sized for this. If you want to use a non-Pandora necklace, you have to check that the clasp is narrow enough.
