Pandora case dissapointment

I thought I would post this as alot of people were inquiring about Pandora vs's other type of bracelets.

My DN has a Chamilia bracelet it came in a tin case with a plastic insert where the bracelet fits nicely in it. My DD received the Pandora for Christmas and the bracelet came in a bag type box. If you have a Pandora what type of box was it in when you received it?

The reason I am asking this is I think the Chamilia case is a safer way to store the bracelet and not just dropped in a box. How do you store your bracelet if you have one?

My dd gave me a Pandora bracelet with a charm on it(leather braided) and it came in a Pandora box. That is the way my silver one came as well.
My ds got me a charm and that came in the gift bag/box, wrapped in tissue. Maybe the store where it was purchased ran out of boxes. My ds got the charm a few days before Christmas, but my dd had gone a couple weeks ago.

I don't store any of my jewelry in its original box so I don't care how its presented. All of my jewelry goes in my jewelry box.

I think it is fairly typical for nice jewelry (I'm thinking about higher-end but not super-fine) to come in velvet bags. Protects from scratches and dust, but not from getting crushed or something.

I just store my pandora in my jewelry box with nothing special done to it. I've had it for a while now and I'm pretty rough with it--daily wear, sometimes it just gets left on the bathroom counter, etc) and I've had no problems with it.

The pandora bag is not velvet, its just like a paper box but shaped like a gift bag. There isn't even a velvet cushion in it like the Pandora gift box.

My Pandora bracelet came from Jared's and it came in a nice rectangular box - fabric on the outside, padded on the inside. I keep it in that box.

Interestingly though (since I was just thinking about this), my mom bought me beads at Jared's as well and they didn't even come in boxes, just little plastic bags I think. But my DH bought me some more beads this Christmas from a nice jeweler in town, and each one came in its own square elegant looking box.

I haven't purchased any from the Pandora store in the mall, so can't speak to that.

But given what's posted in this thread and my own experience, it seems like it's up to the individual selling location as to how they package the bracelets and the beads.

I'm thinking they ran out of boxes for OP's DD as well. On both trips to Pandora recently, the store was mobbed. We got our DD a Pandora bracelet earlier this month, and it came in a nice white box with a hinge. The Pandora logo is embossed on the top. It's lined with velvet or some plush material. MUCH nicer than the Pandora box I received five years ago, which was basically heavy cardboard.

DH also got me a new charm for my Pandora and it came in a tiny bag/box like the OP describes; it was sealed with a Pandora logo sticker. The charm was wrapped in tissue paper inside.

Tink, I'd go to the store and just ask for a box; just explain it was a gift and you never got a box with it. I doubt they'd say no.

My bracelet came in a box but I have no idea where it is. I wear it almost daily and it generally just gets dropped on the table with my watch when I get home from work. If I'm not going to be wearing it, it goes in my jewelry box. I figure that if it can stand up to daily wear, it shouldn't need special storage.

My bracelet came in a velvet bag with the jewelers name on it.

I also store the bracelet in the bag, when I'm not wearing it.

Depended upon the jewelers. My Dad and Sister both bought my mom pandora charms this holiday season and his came from a high end jeweler, my sisters from the Pandora shop in the mall. Both were in the cardboard box that looks like a small gift bag. Mine were from a high end jeweler and each was boxed and gift wrapped. I was at another high end jewelery store on Christmas eve looking for something special for both of my sisters. They sell pandora and were telling customers to watch how they store them as they will tarnish if left in the box or bag for long periods of time unworn. Theirs were in the small white cardboard boxes that looked like giftbags as well.
DD had Troll bracelet and beads, she likes the beads better that pandora. All of hers come in boxes and her bracelet came in the box with a small pillow for the bracelet to sit on when she is not wearing it.

I got a bracelet for my little sister for Christmas and they put it in the little cardboard box with tissue paper. I was expecting a box, but I don't think it's a big deal for storage. I never store my jewelry in the box it comes in. As others have said, Pandora probably ran out of their boxes. The store was crazy-busy when I went last Tuesday.
