Hi - does anyone know if Pandora has a disney charm? and if so, where have you seen it- any of the parks? on the Wonder?
Thanks

Pandora don't make Disney charms, but you can get chamilia charms that fit on the Pandora bracelets.

They are sold in DTD in the jewellery section of World of Disney. I have a couple but they're not as good quality as pandora charms, but some are quite cute.

You can also get them on ebay.

My niece got Tigger, Pooh, Eeyore and Donald for Christams.

You can also get them at Uptown Jewelers in the Magic Kingdom--I got Cinderella's Coach last spring.

Just a word of warning. Chamilia uses a different kind of silver from Pandora. It is shinier even when new and unlike the silver that Pandora uses, it does not tarnish. I got my sister the Chamilia cinderella coach for her Pandora bracelet and this is sticking out like a sore thumb.

I got a glass Camilia bead that has the "Classic Mickey" on it. I have the Pandora bracelet and it looks great on it! The charms do not screw on like the Pandora charms do. They just slide on so you have to be careful to not put them where they would fall off when you take your bracelet off! I bought mine at DTD and it ran about $38 for the glass bead. The silver ones were a little cheaper but not much! :)

I tried on the chamilla (sp?) Mickey and Minnie heads. I thought they were too pointy and they kept poking my wrist. I ended up with the small square silver bead with the pink mickey rhinestones.

I love my Chamilia Mickey head charm. I was given this as a present from my Secret Mickey on my last cruise. However, having seen the effect the Chamilia charm had on the overall look of my sister's Pandora bracelet, I did not put it on mine, but got a leather Chamilia bracelet for it. I really need to get some more Chamilia charms to keep it company though.

Not a Disney charm per-se, but I picked out a Murano bead for my Pandora that to me looked like a hidden mickey -- it's a black bead with a white flower (with yellow center) on it and the way the petals are arranged sort of looks like a Mickey to me.

I tried to link it here but the link doesn't work but the name of the bead is black flowers and it's Murano with silver.

My disney chamilia beads screwed on just like the pandora ones. maybe it's just the glass beads :confused3

I love, love, love my Chamilia bracelet. I have a Mickey charm, along with other non-Disney, but hope to add another Disney charm to it next week!

My dh and kids gave me a Brighton bracelet for Christmas, and a few beads to start. I'm a big Brighton fan, but not really that familiar with Chamilia jewelry. But if they have Disney beads, I'm interested.

Does anyone know if Chamilia beads would work and look good on a Brighton bracelet?

I've started a bracelet that's all Disney and Florida related charms. I have the Cinderella's coach , I have a pineapple (to remind me of Dole Whip Floats), a danging Mickey head and one with palm trees on it.It's shaping up nicely..

Yes, I called a local store that sells Brighton and they told me the Chamilia charms will fit on it. As far as how they would look on it, I would think they would look okay, but they will "flop" around on the bracelet; not stay put. Whereas with a Chamilia bracelet, you can buy locker charms to keep the beads in between stationary.

The shop in Disney Studios is on the left. You'll pass by the first section of stores and I believe it's in the second. They are in a case by the cash register.

You can also check out ebay or etsy if you're on a budget.

I purchased a gold spacer stamped with mickey heads for my pandors but your right they are chamilia brand. May I suggest take your bracelet with you and try your bead on first because I had to try 3 on before I could get one to screw onto my pandora. Also all the parks sell them at one store or another in dtd the middle of world of disney has, grand floridian gift shop, in epcot the works shop and I know there in the other parks just ask around.

But and this is a big but they have very limited quantities and if you want something specific you may be better contacting chamilia to find them at your local stores. I was hunting for donald and no one had ever seen him but I've seen him in hallmark no less lol.

I'm thinking gold mickey with diamond eyes next year. maybe....

Just curious for your opinions on which company you tend to prefer? I'm about to start a bracelet and I don't mind "mixing" them up and I know it has to do with personal choice. They seem very comparable in price and I understand the Chamilia charms are more "shiny" compared to the duller look of Pandora. Is there anything else anyone can add as a positive or negative for either company? I'm completely torn at this point! :confused3 A friend just started a Pandora which I love, however I know I'll want to add a few Disney charms from Chamilia so should I go with Chamilia for this reason?

I need to let DH know soon - hint hint! :rotfl2: :lovestruc

Thanks in advance,
Heather

Heather, I love my Pandora! I have a couple of the Chamilia charms from Disney and I don't really notice a huge difference between the brands. There are several stores that sell Pandora close to my house that makes it VERY convenient for my hubby to browse and buy, or take my daughter to pick one. I think some of the Chamilia beads aren't the shiny silver if that concerns you. I have my eye on an Eyeore one next time!

Thanks! :) It feels split down the middle! :) You're right, Pandora seems to be a little more convenient to find locally, although they sell both brands here. I love the idea of my DS being able to get me a charm for my bracelet and I've been showing him some online already! The Eyeore one is indeed adorable! I will definitely get the Tinkerbell one and one with Mickey, but which one? I love the dangle Mickey and also a square one with the mickey head in rhinestones. :lovestruc

Anyone else have any thoughts on which way to go and why?

Thanks,
Heather

I think I read that the Chamilia bracelet is better if you are going to mix beads between the two manufacturers. The treading makes it easier to use . I have a Chamila bracelet and have mainly Chamilia charms with some Pandora.I don't think that Pandora's are nicer charms; they can be larger but not necessarily. I have the Queen Bee Pandora charm on my bracelet and it fits and looks great with the Chamilia charms. I like both brands. I like the fact that Chamilia has Disney charms, Hershey( a hershey kiss), the Macy shopping bag( bag with star) and Macy Christmas Tree( although it doesn't say Macys but same design.) I may get a Pandora bracelet in the future. I bought a Chamilia bracelet for my DD and then bought her a leather Pandora one. I am an equal opportunity charm buyer:) Most people I know mix charms:surfweb:
