I just saw where Lance Armstrong has announced that he will be going for an 8th victory at the Tour De France, Go Lance!!!!!!

I got my latest copy of Runner's World in the mail and there is NO JOHN BINGHAM, where is my hero the Penguin? There are some new things but it;s sadly lacking in penguin thoughts.

I have a blog now that has a daily topic similar to the YARC posts. I will still be doing a YARC since I love the WISH and like being part of it.

I mentioned once before that I was going to start a quest to get the new white house residents to take a real interest in our country's health and fitness.

Our dear SteffWalks, Connie had shoulder surgery, please send good vibes her way for a speedy recovery.

Hi Dave,

I just read your blog. Nice job. I like your point about selling out your goals for a treat. I think I'll print out a picture of a Panda and tape it to my pantry door, so I'll think of that each time I open it in search of something sweet. Keep blogging.

Yea for Lance. It will be very interesting to see if the "old man" can keep up with the young kids. Some people might find him to be a bit brash, but he's definitely making a difference in this world.

I haven't looked at RW this month, is the Penguin's absense just temporary?

Yesterday's sports section had a denial that Lance was going back to the Tour de France. But then it didn't come from Lance's mouth, rather the team rumored to be who he was going to ride for.

Not sure if that's changed as of the time you posted.

I know Lance did some mountain bike endurance race recently, and came in second! He trailed the leader almost to the finish, but then couldn't keep up at the end.

Why can't professional athletes stay retired? Boxing, football, baseball, basketball, and now cycling .

I stand corrected, just read a blub in today's sports section. No mention of what team he's riding with.
