Princess Storybook Breakfast @ Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
in Norway - Epcot

Can you also get pancakes or waffles ?

My kids love them. Not sure about the rest of the menu.
Fresh Seasonal Fruit -OK to eat
Bacon - maybe OK
Sausage - no way will e eat them
Scrambled Eggs - maybe OK
Potato Casserole - unsure if we'd like it
Biscuits - for the price ?
Cinnamon Rolls - OK to eat

So for $28.99 for adults (we are 4 adults, DH, DW and 2 teen kids) - is fruit, bacon, scrambled eggs and cinnamon rolls worth the cost ?

Can we get pancakes or waffles ?

We went in October 2005 for breakfast and they didn't offer pancakes or waffles. I remember that specifically because my daughter has food allergies and we asked if they could fix her pancakes or waffles without milk. The chef said no since they didn't serve those anyway.

Now, obviously things could have changed since then, but for us and our situation, it wasn't worth the cost. For people without food restrictions, I'm sure it is a much better value.

Theysometimes have pancakes only for people with special dietary restrictions. When we went Sept 2008 they said they didn't have any. It is not part of the regualr menu and you can not count on being able to get them

Was there Sunday May 3, 2009. I asked for pancakes and they said only for allergies. I explained nicely that my 5 year old daughter would eat nothing on the menu and the waitress said they would give her pancakes. The pancakes took a long time to arrive. We were done our breakfast before the pancakes arrived.

You are paying for the princesses and the photo package, that is why it is so expensive.

They had Belle in yellow dress for the photo. Then we saw Sleeping Beauty, Show White, Cinderella and Ariel. I was glad we saw Ariel because she is my daugther's favorite.

When we went in February of 07, they offered to bring pancakes for our DD (almost 3 at the time)....we didn't even have to ask. But they may have changed policies since then. That trip we saw Belle in her yellow dress, Jasmine, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty. When we went last year, we saw Belle (again in her yellow dress), Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and Alice.

We went in February and didn't see pancakes or waffles.

the fruit and pastries are plentiful and served on a buffet table, lox and salami are also available. My daughter had two plates of fruit. The pastries are typical danish pastries, very fresh nothing unusual except for one english scone type of pastry.

The bacon, sausage and egg are standard fare the potato casserole is like a potato dauphinoise with cheese - could just eat that for a week to be honest.

I think most people will be fine there.

Thanks for the replies and what was on the buffet area.

I think we will try Norway next time we are at WDW and skip Cindy's.
If we do the dining package.
Cindy's would be 2 TS and Norwat I think only 1 TS a better buy.
Plus our teens will be able to see more princess.

We'll catch Cindy and the Prince at 1900 Park Faire.

Thank you again !

I thought this was "family style" and not buffet? Anyone know?
It's a little of both. The hot foods are brought family style, but there are also some items on the buffet. For lunch and dinner there are some items on the buffet, but you order your entree from the menu and it is brought to your table.

oh my! Those breakfast potatoes are so good!

"Family style" - they bring big platters of the hot food to your table for breakfast and you can ask for more of whatever you like. It's all you can eat.

If you're just going for the food - you may not think it's worth it for the price. My kids will eat most of the things that are on the menu - but they are so excited by the characters that they don't end up eating very much. I figure I am also paying for the character experience - which makes it totally worth it for me.

no pancakes or waffles available all the times we were there unless you had special dietary needs. It is a lot of money if you are going just for the food.
