We received a new Panasonic DVD camcorder for Christmas. It is the VDR-D200. We recorded on a DVD-RAM this morning. Now the camera is stuck on camera mode. The bottom of the display says "Test". Because it is stuck in this mode we cannot record video or even remove the DVD from the camera. I am very upset b/c this is DS's first Christmas and I have not been able to record since this morning. I will take it back to Best Buy tomorrow but what will they do if they cannot get the DVD out?
I tried everything including removing the battery for a minute then turning it back on. I also tried the reset button. Are Panasonic camcorders bad or did I just get a dud?
