Pampered Chef Wedding Registry

Has anyone done the Pampered Chef Wedding Registry? We just got infromation about it this evening and would like to hear anyone's experiences with this!

We have heard about the Wedding Shower, and certianly wouldn't feel comfortable inviting people to our home to ask them to buy us gifts. I'm sure the consultant does a lovely job of the presentation, but it seems poor etiquette to me. We have lived together for about a year and have stuff like a toaster oven/mixer/blender/microwave/utensils/dishes/etc already. So there's no need to register for any of that. But we were wondering if registering for some nice serving pieces from here would be a nice alternative to Bed Bath and Beyond or Linens n Things kitchen sections?

I had a friend who married last month and she was registered through PC. She ended up having a party where everyone came over and just bought stuff (for themselves) and she was able to buy a lot of her registry items from the money she made for the party! And then, of course, people still bought and ordered stuff for her off of her registry (not at the party but at another time!)...so it all worked out!!
