Pampered Chef *update page 3*

Wow, thanks everyone!! Now I won't go there feeling completely clueless! :teeth:

I just realized there is a PC website (of course there is, EVERYTHING has a website! lol), so I'll check that out before I go.

Their bread knife is the best bread knife I've even owned. Cuts through tomatoes like nobody's business.

I second the mini-spatula. Perfect for serving small things like brownies.

Stoneware is wonderful.

Make sure you get their Season's Best Cookbook. Only costs $1 (unless they've changed it) and has really great recipes, especially for appetizer like foods.

Oh, Oh, forgot the microcookers. These are saucepans and are made of a plastic material. They come with a lid w/holes for steaming/cooking and then draining w/out taking the lid off. My favorite feature is that you can throw a bag of choc. chips in there, stick it in the microwave and melt them w/out burning them or using a double boiler. (I've also heard you can cook ground beef in them)

The measure all cup someone mentioned earlier is great since it measures out sticky stuff really well, and the batter bowls are great. These are big measuring cups that come with a lid. I have the big and the med. ones and use them constantly!

Sorry...I LOVE Pampered Chef in case you can't tell. I could go on all day. :)

Have fun!
Lori P. :)

My fav's are the can opener, once you learn how to use the darn thing ;). It leaves the edge smooth, not sharp, which is great with kids.

I also love the kitchen shears/clipper thing. It's good for hard plastic, chicken bones, gardening...whatever a scissors is too fragile for.

The scrappers/spatula thing. It's rubber. Their pretty good.

I hated my chopper. It turns everything to much, and you can't fit much into the chopping area. I know alot of people like it, but I just hated it.

The small serving splatula thing...metal...for pie and such.

And it was super expensive, but the big pan w/ lid...it kind of looks like a wok, but it's a non-stick skillet. I love that thing!!! Big, high sides and a clear top! Perfect for just about everything!

I love my stoneware and I love the food chopper! I had a Pampered Chef party in February and then 3 of my friends booked off of me; it has been a non-stop Pampered Chef fest and I swear I have at least half of their product now! It's fantastic!

I have and could not live without the garlic press and all sizes of the cookie scoops.

I love them.

Love it all, but some faves are:

1. Large Batter Bowl--has a cover, measurements are molded into the glass and you can mix up cake and brownie mixes in it. Great for making & storing pancake batter. Use it almost every day.

2. Stoneware--I have everything from pizza stones to the four mini-loaf baker. They are all fantastic and I would not use anything else in the oven.

3. Pantry Seasonings--Since they contain little or no salt, you are paying only for good seasonings. Southwestern, Asian, Cinnamon Plus and Rosemary Herb are my favorites.

4. Mini Serving Spatula--use it almost every day.

5. BBQ Tools--as many others have mentioned. Nice and long and high quality.

Enjoy!

I love Pampered Chef and own many pieces. Some of my favorites are the ice cream scoop, chopper, serving tongs, adjustable measuring spoons and some of my stoneware. The only thing of Pampered Chef that I do not like is the egg slicer.

Oh, I forgot to say if you get a stone, especially a round one I would get the cookbook for the stones as well because there are some neat recipes that are really easy and look like you spent a lot of time working on it. Then if you get that you should get the lifter thingy....can't remember the name but it allows you to life wreaths and what-not off of the stone without it falling apart....I love mine.

Just do what we do... hand the catalog back to the lady and say "yes, we'll take them".

In all seriousness we do have most of items since my wife is best freinds with the rep. I think everybody should have at least one stone to bake cookies on (no more burnt bottoms) and the food chopper. The cookware is pricey, but IMO close to Caphalon quality at a cheaper price.

I use this all the time too. It is one of the best things I ever bought.

and everything else I have ......I know the stuff is pricey but the warranty makes up for everything...I have the big bread knife that I hae had for over 8 years and I got one for my brother in law who makes his own bread every other week and he gave the knife a big ten....and that is pretty darn good coming from him.....

I went to the party last night and it was fun! Had some yummy samples. :) Here's what I ordered, and again THANK YOU all because knowing you all liked some of these things made it easier to decide to buy them!

~Cut-N-Seal sandwich maker
~Mini-Serving Spatula
~Rectangle Stone (maybe I won't burn the cookies anymore! lol)
~Nylon pan scrapers
~Classic Batter Bowl

That's all, but boy was there LOTS more I wanted! Oh and they had a June special for a free Pitcher thingy if you spent over $50, so I'll be getting that too. I'm looking forward to getting my stuff!!

So glad you had fun! You made some great choices.

If you have a show, you can earn tons of free and half-price stuff, so I hope you will consider it.

You will love it all! Forgot to mention that I also have the gadget holder (not sure of the real name) and it's great. Holds so many things! I can't wait until I can order more stuff. Have to wait because money's tight right now..too many end of year things going on.

You will love love love your stone. I went a little Pampered Chef nuts in this Spring and bought the round stone, the deep dish pie plate, the deep dish baker, the mini baker, the square baker, the small oval baker, got the rectangular baker free as having two people book off of me, and got the muffin stone, the big rectangle with the raised edges and the mini rectangle stone for birthday gifts. :earseek: :earseek: It is crazy, but I am so sold on their stones now! I threw out my Pyrex & metal cookie sheets (well, gave to Goodwill) and now we are a stone lovin family! :p
