Pampered Chef - Must Haves?

my whole kitchen is pampered chef. my mom was a consultant and we have almost everything.

the things that get the most use are the stones, batter bowl, measuring cups, measuring teaspoon and tablespoons, the mini spatula, the white paring knife, the garlic press, and the rubber spatulas, one big, one medium, one small.

enjoy!

I use the pizza stone all the time! I just keep it in the oven. Cookies, biscuits, pizza all come out so much better using only that. :thumbsup2

My mom loves hers as well.

I'm a semi-active consultant and here are my favorite items. Large Round Stone, Large and small bar pan (great for a toaster oven), food chopper, ice cream dipper, Measure all cup, and I love the new Cinnamon and Caramel Sprinkles. I had hosted so many parties and got so much stuff free, I decided to start selling it. But I'm not very active, mostly to friends to keep them supplied and me getting a discount.

I'm another batter bowl lover. Best bowls I've ever owned. I use my measuring cup daily and I LOVE the pots and pans. I was able to get those after I hosted a party. They are fantastic!

On the down side...I've never been able to figure out how to use the can opener.:sad2:

I just went to a Pampered Chef party for the first time. My favorite has got to be the Deep Covered Baker. I haven't tried it yet but they say you can microwave a chicken in 30 minutes! I also like my large round stone with handles - makes the french fries crispier than a regular metal baking sheet. Used it tonight to make pizza. Seems since I have gotten my PC stuff I have used it ALOT.

I love my mini spatula, garlic press, and chopper. I bought the round pizza stone a few years ago and didn't think I would use it much. I use it all of the time. I love it!

I have several PC products but one of my favorites is the ice cream scoop:woohoo:

love my deep dish stone:love: I make a mean apple pie in it or I make chicken pot pie~

once you season the stoneware (pizza stones) they are amazing:goodvibes

:lmao: I was the same way. I was at a party where the theme was Survivor and we had to compete to make a meal the fastest. I almost lost because I couldn't get the opener to work. I had a consultant show me how to do it and was like "Duh, this was so easy!" So at the next party you attend, ask a consultant to show you how to work it. It really is a great can opener.

the garlic press, the pizza stone, the mini rolling pin, I love to make the chicken braid my family thinks it is so yummy!! Oh and apple crisp in the deep dish baking stone is awesome too!:cool1:

I bought the juice jug that you mix up lemonade or juice in. It has the plunger that you push up and down to mix it up. I love it, especially with the kids as it is fast. It is also great when you go to serve lemonade or oj and you can give it a quick plunge up and down to stir around any pulp.

I also love the apple cutter that takes the core out and cuts into pieces.

I do have the lasagna stone, but haven't used it much. A friend tells me it is great for making shake and bake in it as it makes it crispier like fried chicken, so I 'm going to try it! She says all of the grease soaks into the stone and then it comes back up when you put it into water after.

I'm going to a party next month and will have to be careful!! Although now I am a CReative Memories consultant myself and know how addicting these things can be :)

My PC faves:

1) that very cheap but AWESOME white-handled paring knife
2) the egg slicer
3) the VERY expensive chicken fryer pan thingy

I want to be buried with the aforementioned PC items. :thumbsup2

The one thing I love is very inexpensive but I love it. We drink 2 lt. sodas all the time and PC has a neat little thing that fits over the lid to open soda bottles. I could not live without it.

Of course I like my can opener and used my large bar pan till I set it on top of stove eye that was ON. Broke it to pieces.

I'm a gadget person so I bought the avocado knife thingy, but I love the wooden mini tart shaper. The hold N slice is great too! I buy 10 of the paring knives at a time because they keep disappearing. :confused3

One of my best knives is from pampered chef. I use my pizza stones, 3-6 times/week. They stay in my oven all the time. Works great as a cookie sheet too. I also use my chopper alot, and cutting boards.

NO one makes as good a stone as PC! Even roll biscuits taste good on it! Yes cookies are excellent too.

Get a few of the $1. paring knives, with the white handle. I love having them and like a few on hand. They tend to "walk" away.

The chopper-grey plastic -comes apart to clean is a must have. My chopper gets so much use-its easier than the electric chopper!:coffee:
Happy shopping!

My favorites are:

--pan scrapers
--twixit clips
--pie server
--small spatula
--nylon tools
--both batter bowls
--cutting boards
--garlic press
--avocado knife (a must-have)
--stoneware pie pan
--stoneware pizza pans
--gallon and half gallon pitchers
--steak knives
--professional griddle
--$1 cookbooks (I have a dozen or so of them)
--Main Dishes cookbook

Those are the items I use every day...of course, not as much with the pie pan and avocado knife...but they are staples in my kitchen. I sold PC for about three years finishing out about 8 years ago. Nearly every one of those items was purchased during my time as a consultant.

The items that weren't so great: Generation II cookware lasted only about 3 years and didn't hold up to the use. The ice shaver worked great, but what a pain to store! The apple corer peeler slicer never quite gets adjusted correctly and is a PITA to clean

I have to say that I finally figured mine out and I love it now. It sat in a drawer for ages but now I use it all the time. Cleaning it is not so bad as long as you do it right away. :thumbsup2
