On the wonder is it possible to eat at Palo's more that 1 nite? Just wondering? Thought maybe they take ressies for 1 nite and then waitlist for a 2nd nite if that does not fill, your allowed to eat there again? With just 2 of us, we would rather eat there.

Thanks, MKY princess:

You're exactly right. :D They allow you to make one reservation for dinner. However, you can put your name on the waitlist for everynight if you wanted to. They told me that most people can eat there as often as they like as long as they are flexible with their times.

I don't know if you're on the 3 or 4 day cruise. The 4 day cruise has an amazing brunch at Palo on the day at sea. Don't miss it! :sunny:

DH and I sailed on the 4 night just a few weeks ago. We didn't have the kids with us and we did end up being able to eat in Palo's every night. Actually, the only night that we noticed a crowd was the last night. As the previous poster mentioned, if you can be flexible, then I don't think there'd be a problem.

That sounds like a good plan for my sister and I. :smooth: Wondering what times you got to eat, early? late? Not sure what is the "prefered" time. We usually eat early, but it does not really matter. Did you see many people repeating in Palo's, as you did?

We're not typically early eaters, so I'm not sure what the earliest reservation you could get. I'm guessing 5pm, but hopefully someone else knows for sure. I do know that the latest reservation they take is at 9pm. We typically ate at about 7:30 each night (and left the restaurant close to 11pm). We happened to meet another couple from the DIS who were also travelling without their kids and we bumped into them 3 out of the 4 nights. In fact, we even combined our reservations and ate brunch together. What I did notice is that the first 3 nights were not very crowded at all. The last night really did fill up though. In talking with a staff member, this seems to be pretty typical, with the last night being the most requested. If I were you, I'd make my actual reservation for your last night and then request the waitlist for the others. Palo's also has a small bar with about 8 seats. We did see some people sitting there having a drink before their table was ready, but I'm wondering if you could eat right there.

Another consideration is that you will be charged the $10 per person fee each night that you eat there. We also tipped each night (15-20% of what we assumed the true price to be). If you're budgeting, you might just want to include that. We also tipped our regular wait staff as per the guidelines, even though we didn't eat at any of our assigned restaurants. We did eat at some of them for breakfast and lunch, so perhaps someone from our dining staff waited on us then.
