Lets say we get PLAPLAP main dining and want to go to Palos Mon night.
1st we go to the AP dinner/show at 6pm. Cpt reception is 745-830
so do we make dinner ressies for 830 or 9 (they only take in 1/2hrs?)
Can we just get dessert at that time? Do we still need to reserve? Do we need to tell them thats our plans when we 1st reserve?

Thank you - Im trying to do it all!
Want Palos on Mon night as Thurs night is my bday and want to celebrate it as a family. Better for me to plan Palos on a night I know DH will be in his tux
The other 2 rotations we can skip our rotation restaurant and go at that time.

Yes to desserts at that time at Palos.
However, you know, you get free food and drinks (alcoholic drinks if you are into that) at the Captn's reception. I think you'll be TOO full to even enjoy your souflee (sp?). Could you do dessert another night? Tux's are not required at Palo's. Also, if you are not a "fine" dining fan you could just skip Palo's (I'm sure that will spark some comments, huh?). We found it to be stuffy, SLOW, and the waitstaff snotty. Yes the views were nice and yes the food was good but my dh swears he's never going again. You will have a terrific time even if you miss Palo's. Go visit on one of the nights where you aren't doing a bunch of other things. They might just have a table there open for drinks or dessert.....play it by ear(s) :earsboy:

I have been told by several people that you can just go & sit at the bar at Palo for desert & a drink. We hope to be able to do that if DD enjoys the club.

Don't forget that Hercules, the Muse-ical is in the Walt Disney Theatre on Monday evening. If you have an early dinner, you go to the late show, and if you have a late dinner, you go to the early show. It's a fun show, in the tradition of a Broadway musical.

Most people who go to Palo go there instead of going to the their scheduled dinner. You'll enjoy Palo more if you're hungry, and you have a complete, multi-course meal.

When you get your KTTW card/key, you'll find out your dinner rotation. If you don't want to miss the changing decor at AP, then I would receommend scheduling Palo on another night.

Palo is not a formal restaurant, except on the formal nights. They simply recommend that men wear jackets, but not everyone follows this guidance.
