Is it mandatory that men wear jackets, or would a dress shirt and tie suffice? My husband has this cute little Mickey Mouse bow tie that he's just dieing to wear! He is definitely not crazy about wearing a jacket! By the way Ft Wilderness -- Hope to see you on the June 9 cruise!:earseek:

A jacket is requested, but not required. I'm sure they won't turn him away if he's dressed like you described.

You don't have to wear a jacket, but every single guy up there during our meal on Tuesday 3/26 had one on. I would have felt a wee bit uncomfortbale without a jacket them (had a tie on also, but was in the slight minority there), but to each his own.

My DH wears a jacket and tie to Palo's when we go. Nutz4diz--where did you find a Mickey Mouse bow tie? My DH would love one! I've been looking at WDW, but can find only the regular ties. I bought DH a tie with MM and little sandpails and oars for our cruise--he wore it to dinner one night, and another man at our table had on the same tie! But I'd love to find a bow tie.

Ate there twice on Magic the week of 2/23/02 and neither time did I wear even a tie, let alone a jacket. Wore dress pants and my Hawaiian shirt and didn't feel underdressed. There were several in dark suits and ladies in their little black dresses, others less casual like me and didn't feel at all out of place or unwelcome from the maitre 'd.
