Okay, My DW and I are packing and getting ready for our 3rd Disney cruise and we have a few questions. Yes, I know, our third cruise and we still have questions.

1) Palo's brunch. Are jackets required for us guys? I know jackets are a must for dinner but I wasn't sure about brunch.

2) We're DVC members and have booked this cruise using our points we are also past crusiers so we are also Cataway Cay members. The question is when we check in at the port do we walk right on or check in at the DVC counter or do we check in at the Castaway Cay counter? Questions, Questions...

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks,

Coach

Coach - I will try and answer both of your questions. No, jackets are not required at Palo for brunch. In fact, I don't think that I have ever seen anyone wearing a jacket at brunch. Nice button down shirts or a polo are fine. Seems to me I remember seeing resort casual for brunch.

I would get in the shortest line when boarding - at times the castaway line can be longer than the regular lines.

Enjoy your cruise!

Dear glindamood,

Thanks for the fast response. I'm still a little confused about checking in at the port. We did purchase Disney transfers for transportation from the Disney Boardwalk Villas to the port and from the port to Orlando Airport. This is the first time we are not doing the land/sea package but when we did, we were just able to walk right on to the ship. My DW and I will be flying in the day before and we will be staying at the Boardwalk Villas.
If anyone has any more information that would be great.

Thanks again..

We went on our third cruise last April using our DVC points. We went through the Castaway Club check-in line, which was shorter than the regular line. I know that is not always the case, because on our second cruise, the regular line was shorter that the CC line, so we used that. I don't remember seeing a DVC check-in.

We loved the brunch at Palo, and thought it was even better than dinner! Enjoy it! As glindamood already said, a collared shirt and khaki (or something similar) pants are the norm for brunch.

Have a great time, and btw, our 3rd cruise was our best yet!
