We ate at Palo & it was unreal & the servive was amazing!! Hour server sent us a hand written thank you note to our stateroom the following morning- I was wondering if they do this all the time- it was a special treat especially because it was hand written- anyone esle get thank you notes? Thanks- just curious!!!

We got one too. We actually got two, one from our server and one from the head server I believe. The second one was from someone we had not been introduced to.

It was a great touch. Made the memory even sweeter!

In April we had brunch on Monday of the 7 day Eastern and received a thank you note on Friday. I noticed a lot of other people around us had PALO notes tucked in near their doors about the same time as us.

We had tea, brunch, and dinner at Palo on the Magic and on the afternoon of the last day (Castaway Cay) we received 3 notes saying thank you for dining at Palo. And yep, my first thought was .... SCRAPBOOK!

we had dinner at palo and when we got back to our room we had recieved a phone call from our server jevon inviting us to brunch the next day. that's great service

we thought so too! We had the romance package so the $20 was included & we left additional gratuity & our server had already come over to say thank you twice- then when we asked the manager if we filled out the paperwork correctly (they charged us the $20 at first) he looked it all over & I asked to make sure that the total we left additional was going to our server(this way I would have increased it if it was getting split) and he said "Oh my, yes it will be for him, thank you" then after shaking my bfs hand he walked over to the server leaned to his ear & told him something & the server almost chased us out of the restaurant to say thank you again & shake my bfs hand again. It was nice to know he appriciated it- I guess he gets the $20 charge as a tip regardless & then we put an additional $50 on top of that so he ended up with $70 total & he deserved even more than that & if we were rich we would have left more!!! It was our favorite evening! I thought that the note was SUCH a nice touch- & the fact that it wasn't just pre-printed & signed was so nice too- they really go the extra mile- & people wonder why we'll pay more for DCL!!!

We weren't sure if the server got the tip, so we left $50 also, but now it seems he got $70. That's alright. He was SO wonderful! Ours was Marc from South Africa, who was yours?

We also received a thank you tucked in fish mail on the last evening. There were lots and lots of doors with Palo notes that night. Ours was hand signed by our server, but the printed type was the "excellent speech."

Our server was Edu (Eduardo) He was excellent. The whole not was handwritten- you could tell becuase you could barely read it it was a nice touch!
