We are going on the 10/31 Fantasy cruise. Its a 7 night cruise. On the 6th night we are planning a dinner at Palo. My concern is that we may miss something in the MDR. Will we miss anything??

The things you may miss is the Animation magic show if you are in Animators palate that night. This is where you draw a character. And then it comes to life on the screens. Ask / request a rotation that avoids that IE anyone that AP is missed on that Palo night . AP has two shows the welcome onboard show and animation magic. The other MDRs do not have shows. If you request starting in AP then you should be ok.

The normal order is Enchanted Garden, Royal Palace, Animator's Palate

Palo is worth missing an MDR and even more if you are on a 7 night. Make your reservation and then look at your seating when you get on board. If you dont like how it works out go request the change.

Agree but avoid missing AP (as above ) its too good to miss and that's the OPs question.

Gotta disagree on the Animation Magic show being worth it. You draw something and it will appear on the screen at the show after dinner for a couple of seconds. That's it. Might be cool for kids, but as an adult it's kind of meh. I wouldn't think twice about missing that for Palo.

The color changing over time (including the uniform change by the servers) was much cooler on the classic ships.

Agreed on the animation show. To miss the full-choice menu for that evening is IMHO not worth it if you are an adult-only party.

Just to echo complete agreement with everyone else...
None of the menus are "can't miss" from the food perspective. The show in Animator's Palate is pretty cool to experience at least once, and I'd avoid missing it.

We were on the Fantasy over Christmas last year and sat through the Animation magic show. And I must admit, I/we loved it. It was very fun watching everyone's creative drawings up on the screens. My son (22 at the time) just drew a stick man and at the very end of the show it was one of the drawings chosen to dance with one of the princesses. If I had to make a choice however on which one to miss it would be the show. Palo is not to be missed. JMHO
