Do the seating times at Palo follow the 6:30 and 8:30 theme?

The reason I am asking is because I am fairly sure my kids will not go into their club. So I am trying to figure out a way for us to eat at Palo and keep kids out of trouble (10 and 6) A few ideas I had was sit with them for 6:30 dinner rotation and then either.

1. have them see the 8:30 show without us or
2. put them in the cabin with the T.V and fun room service.

Any other suggestions?

Nope, Palo seatings don't follow the regular times. They are whenever you make your ressie for...I think it's typically on the hour and half hour.

We were facing the same problem , so have decided to book brunch , leave ds in cabin with movie and room service, everybodies happy. You may be able to convince them to do the club one night in return for an excursion / gift that they want ???

::MickeyMo I guess this goes w/o saying, but I certainly wouldn't leave them in the room by themselves if I had a verandah stateroom.

What you can do is call for the movies that will be playing and one week b4 your cruise you can get the movie times....Plan your Palo experience around your children going to the movie of their choice. Meet them when the movie is over and hear all about their fun!!! Good luck & Enjoy!

PS....If you bring 2 way radios you no that they can always get in touch with you if there is a problem &/or if they are registered in the kids clubs they can go to any CM on the ship and you will be immediately beeped.

My DS will be just turning 13 so i'm comfortable leaving him in our cabin if he's not at one of the clubs.

Kathymike, no advice here, just saying my DD (age 9) does not like the clubs at all. She wants to stay in stateroom when we dine at Palo. You're in good company!:D

The night we ate at Palo's we had our dtr. to the kid's club prior to them taking the kids to eat dinner. She ate dinner and spent the evening with them while we had our own dinner date and movie!
