Are you able to book Palo for both dinner and brunch online in advance, or do they only let you do one beforehand and the other on the ship?

I'm hoping to do both, and my window opens in a few weeks. I want to be ready! :goodvibes

Be sure to book your brunch at the minute it opens, 00:00 am Easter Standard Time. I'm assuming you are booking Palo at 75 days before cruise. I tried to book the brunch for my cruise at 10 minutes into the booking period, brunch and high-tea were already unavailable.

Wow! Good tip! I did (do) plan on booking at midnight at my 75 day mark, but I probably would have done dinner first! Now I know to do brunch first! Thanks!

This will be our first cruise on the dream in 2011, when does booking open for Palo? Does the cruise have to be paid in full before ressies can be made?

Firstly yes needs to be paid in full, now when you book depends on how many cruises you have had, if this is your first it should be 75 days Cats 12>cat 4./ Dream thats ALL non Concierge rooms.

DCL says; Early Access to Online Activity Planning Advance booking for onboard amenities and shore excursions.
  • 90 days prior to sailing Silver-starts after 1st cruise Cat 12>Cat 4
  • 105 days prior to sailing Gold starts after 5th cruise; Cat 12>Cat 4
  • 120 days prior to sailing Platinum begins on 10th cruise, and suite

DCL will write to you before your booking date to confirm.

Since I just booked my first disney cruise 2-weeks ago, Palo for Brunch is not available to book prior to sailing. I am hoping that they do hold some reservations for booking on board. Is this a true statement? Am I going to have to make a mad dash to reserve brunch for one of our days at sea once I board?

Yes, they do hold back approximately 50% of the reservations for onboard booking. Keep checking online to see if brunch does open up for you, it does happen.
Definately head to Rockin Bar D to make a ressie for brunch. Check the Navigator that will be given to you as you check in to see what times they are there for dining ressies/changes. You can also ask to be waitlisted if it happens to fill up before you get there.
