Palo Reservation Time for Fireworks Afterward on Pirates Night

Hi,

I have heard that the dinner menu for Pirates night on Fantasy is not all that exciting, so we are going to make reservations for Palo on Pirates Night. We still want to see the fireworks though, so I was wondering what the best reservation time would be to enjoy the meal then be on the deck for the fireworks.

We eat at Palo on Pirate night and then after dinner go to the adult only outdoor bar area by Palo to watch the fireworks. It's located on the starboard side at the very back of the ship.

Get a 1800 reservation that's the first time you can get. Than you will have time to watch the show or movie whatever is playing in WDT that night. Than on to the pirate deck party and fireworks. Yes the pirate MDR menu is not that good.

We are doing the same thing. We have a 630 reservation and were told that would get us out in plenty time to get kids and make the pirate stuff.

It might depend on if you plan to do the tasting menu, which I think is 5 courses, or just order a la carte. We had a 6:30 reservation and just ordered off the menu (appetizer, entree, dessert) and we were out of there with more than an hour to spare.

It depends on what your itinerary is.

We are on Fantasy for a 7 night Western Caribbean this spring and it is Night 5. I would guess it varies depending on the cruise. The pre-arrival guide Disney sends you will have the schedule.

Again, it depends on your itinerary. The cruises that the Fantasy makes (7 night Eastern & Western Caribbean) Pirate night is either night 4 or 5. On our 5 night cruise Pirate night was night 4. On our 4 night cruise is was night 2 (although it was switched from the typical night 3 due to weather). On our 14 night cruises pirate night was night 10.

We were on the Wonder out of Miami, we had 8 pm reservations at Palo on Pirate Night. We walked out of Palo, the timing was ideal, and the view for the fireworks was PERFECT from this aft location and we were the only ones in the area...true, we couldn't see the show but the fireworks are the best part, imho

Can you hear the music from up there that goes with the fireworks? The fireworks blasting off to the POTC music is my favorite! We are making Remy ressies for pirate night. Last time we went down to the pool deck afterwards for the fireworks but maybe this year we can go to the outdoor area by Meridian instead... But only if they play the music up there too!!

VS85, I was in the Wonder (and yes, the speakers were playing the pirate music) but you'll need to hear from someone who has been on the Dream or Fantasy...
