We will be celebrating our 30 year anniversary on our cruise in sept/oct and wanted to try palo brunch but as it's our first cruise it was unavailable. We have booked a dinner at palo however dw and I are not adventurous eaters, dw had wanted to try the chicken parm. Does anyone know if you can get the chicken parm even though it's not on dinner menu? I have seen another thread about a menu change also. Any info on that yet? Thanks.

Many people in the past have reported not being able to order something "off the other menu" in Palo (no chocolate souffle at brunch, no pizza at dinner, for example).

I would doubt it.

We tried exactly that -- ordering the chicken parm at dinner -- and was told it wasn't available. Too bad. It is sooooo good!

On embarkation day, I suggest go to Palo and see if there is possibly an opening for brunch. Sometimes they hold a few spots and they are available first come first served.

I don't know, but I will say that Palo dinner has a not-too-adventurous menu, so if that's not available, she will likely find something else to suit her conservative palate.

Get to where ever it lists the spot to make Palo reservations in the Navigator at least 15 minted early, you may get lucky.
I always have.

Happy Anniversary!

They switch over the kitchen. It is not an easy thing to whip up a brunch item at dinner, and so they won't.

That said, palo dinner is not that adventurous. Remy's where people who are timid diners will be truly unhappy.

As a first-timer with DCL, I was also not able to get a reservation for Palo brunch. I checked almost every day to see if one opened up and it did not. One night I was not able to sleep. Just for giggles, I went on the DCL website about 2 in the morning and there it was, on our second day at sea an 11:00 am seating for three at Palo. BAM. DONE. I got it and loved it. Good luck and don't give up.

As some have said they will not make chicken parmigiana for dinner. Try if you can, after you get on the ship, get on line at the dinning changes area. If you are not sure where this area is check with a cast member. If brunch reservations are not available stop at the podium out side of Palo before the day of your dinner reservation, ask for the manager and explain to them it is your 30th anniversary. Tell them you were unable to get brunch reservations but would love to find out about getting something off the brunch menu at dinner. By asking in advance you never know maybe they may be able to provide a little Disney Magic.
As my father used to say you do not know unless you ask.
