I have a reservation at Palo on Christmas Day. Is the menu there different for this day? Do they do something different because it's Christmas?

I have never heard that Palo does anything different. If you want Disney's idea of "traditional" you'll need to go to the MDR.

TBH I think it's weird they switch up MDR menus since my "traditional" Christmas dinner is likely not yours or anyone else's simply based on the dressing and the cranberry orange relish my mom makes. I can 100% guarantee a restaurant or a dining room on a ship wouldn't have it.

I know for a fact that it will be super hard to find my "traditional" breakfast if I am not at home making it. I accept that if I choose to travel over a holiday I likely will not be eating what I normally would.

You are right. I cruised on christmas one time and ate at the mdr. Had their holiday meal turkey, stuffing, pototoes etc. worst holiday meal I had in my life.

Now, see, except for the stuffing (which no one makes like my mother - including me), I liked my turkey dinner in the MDR.

And see, right there is my point. Yes, my family did turkey when I was little, but I know other families whose traditional dinner is ham or roast beef. So it's weird to me that places will say "traditional" when it really isn't a universal kind of meal.

I didn't like the Christmas MDR menu so that's why I made the Palo reservation for that night.
