Correct, because only 1 brunch or dinner is covered. Even with 3 platinum guests in 1 stateroom, all 3 get just 1 Palo brunch or dinner covered. In the original post, both members used their platinum Palo perk at brunch. So, dinner was not covered.
No! All guests 18 and over staying in the stateroom with the platinum cruiser receive the Palo benefit. So, you and the other person in your stateroom both receive the benefit.Because my platinum benefit paid for my meal and my friends meal. When apparently it's only supposed to pay for my meal.
Unless you both are platinum. Then only one person gets the benefit. I got it now. Thank you.No! All guests 18 and over staying in the stateroom with the platinum cruiser receive the Palo benefit. So, you and the other person in your stateroom both receive the benefit.
No, even if you both Platinum. It’s one Palo meal benefit per room - regardless of the number of guests with Platinum in the room (as long as there is at least one adult with Platinum status).Unless you both are platinum. Then only one person gets the benefit. I got it now. Thank you.
Because it's for you (the Platinum cruiser) and anyone IN YOUR ROOM (regardless of CC level). Your husband has no benefit, if he's in a different room. That's my question then. If "my benefit" is used to pay for myself and my husband in my room for brunch. Why doesn't "his" benefit cover his and my dinner. In actuality, using your response, only one of us got our benefit.
You both had brunch for free. So, you both had the benefit.Unless you both are platinum. Then only one person gets the benefit. I got it now. Thank you.
This worked exactly how it was supposed to. You were the only platinum guest. Your meal and the meal of the other adult guest listed as in your room were covered by the Platinum benefit. If your husband (listed in a different stateroom) had also been platinum, then his meal and the meal of the person listed as sharing a room with him would have been comped. Each room with a Platinum guest can use the Platinum benefit once.I specifically remember going to Palo (the 4 of us) and I was the only platinum. My meal (and my friend who was named in my room) were comped. She was silver. She tried to explain to the server that it should actually be my husband who was comped, but because she was "in my room" her meal was comped instead. That specific meal, apparently only I should have been comped, but they comped the room. Maybe the Palo server made a mistake, I honestly don't know...

Generally, (that is, not always), the rotation on a 4 night cruise is 1223. I'll also point out, even if you're scheduled for one of the MDRs twice, the menus (and possibly) the entertainment will be different. In fact, one of the repeated MDRs will be Pirate night.I just made platinum so this will be my first free Palo dinner. I will be on a 4 night cruise so is there any way to find out ahead of sailing which night is a repeat restaurant so I can make my Palo reservation for that night? Or do I just make the reservation for whatever night and switch if necessary when I get on the ship?
Who’s on first? Holy smokes, this is not a tough concept requiring over 20 responses.
You can look for BBB offering pirate makeovers. They only offer them on pirate night. That's the repeat night.Generally, (that is, not always), the rotation on a 4 night cruise is 1223. It can be possible to switch nights onboard, but don't count on it.
If you look back, I thanked everyone for their answers yesterday. Cute line though.Who’s on first? Holy smokes, this is not a tough concept requiring over 20 responses.
Yes, it was a bit of a misunderstanding. Things like that happen. No reason for a disparaging comment at the end of a thread by that poster. Most people here are happy to help. Ignore the odd ones who know everything better. If you look back, I thanked everyone for their answers yesterday. Cute line though.

I agree I hope they do start enforcing it. Or I do see them doing it, since like you say seems people and taking advantage and it seems to be getting confusing for some.I don't know, but I hope they DO start enforcing it. Too many people are taking advantage of the system by splitting up IMHO.
And I'm VERY glad it doesn't apply to people who aren't Platinum staying in the room (or more likely assigned to the room) with a "Platinum" child.
If it's a Caribbean cruise, check the bookable activities for the Pirate Night makeovers. That night will be a repeat restaurant serving the pirate menu.I just made platinum so this will be my first free Palo dinner.
