Does anyone have any experience in trying to change your party size for a Palo brunch reservation? We have a grandma that will not be able to come so our reservation would go from 5 to 4. Called Disney Cruise Line support and they basically said nothing they could do. Just to keep checking in order to modify or talk to the dining team the day of but they can't guarantee they'd make an accomodation. We are trying to avoid an extra charge for someone who is not coming to the meal. Thanks for any advice or experience you can share.

Just talk to the dining team once you board. I wouldn't play around with the reservation beforehand. Palo brunch reservations are such precious commodities. We're Platinum, and when our booking window opened the other day, we couldn't get one as they were gone within seconds (literally, like less than ten) of midnight.

Is Grandma not coming on the cruise or to the meal?

Unless your meal was on Night 1, can’t you cancel 24 hours to avoid charge? As mentioned, just talk with Palo Manager once aboard.

Have a great meal and a great cruise. Bon Appetit and Bon Boyage!

I have found the palo team to be flexible, once decreased my party size at the last minute no problem. Told them the night before.

We had to skip Palo dinner on our last cruise as my wife became ill the day of. I went to Palo and let the maître d; know. I fully expected to be charged since it was literally 2 hours before but we weren't.

Go ask when you board, for some reason I could only book me and my dad on one cruise a few years ago (I’m platinum) and I just added my mum when we boarded.

I’m having to do the same thing this year too. 🙄 Disney does not like having three people at a table.

We need to add a third and forth to our reservation, and I think that will be much harder; my fingers are crossed.

Definitely keep the reservation that’s too small. My sister found them more accommodating to changes (in our case, to switch days) because she already was booked.

We had a Remy brunch reservation on our last Dream cruise, but my wife had some motion sickness issues and wasn’t able to go. They had no problem with it just being me. Kinda felt bad for my wife although she insisted I go because she knows how much I love Remy. The higher tier champagne pairings I ordered helped me feel better, too 😜
