To all you cruise veterans....We are thinking of trying to get Palo ressies for the last night of our eastern cruise. The plan is to sit with the kids at dinner and then go, assuming our kids will want to spend some time in the clubs on their last night. Will we be missing any shows or any last night activities? Would another night be better?

We always pick Palo for the last night. Our son normally eats in the kid's club while we go and then we all go to the 8:30 showing of Disney Dreams (a do not miss show).

Another option is to see the matinee showing (I think around 2:30) of the show and then your night is a little more open. We tried that on our last cruise and it worked out well.

One thing to remember, you have to put your bags out by 11 pm. Either pack in the afternoon, or give yourself enough time in the evening to get it done so that you don't feel too rushed at dinner.

Whatever you decide, Palo is wonderful! Enjoy!

Just remember the last night is: at sea on the Wonder 4 day and Castaway Cay day on the Wonder 3 day and Castaway Cay all of the Magic's 7 day cruises. Kathy

On each of our cruises, we always have dinner at Palo's it is a nice way to end the week on a romatic note:love2:

Do you know what time we will be settled back in after CC?

Thanks!!

WE THOUGHT THE LAST WOULD BE THE BEST GOT GO BUT SINCE WE ARE MORE IN THE OPEN SEA IT WAS ROCKY AND WE ALMOST WERE SICK. I WOULD DO THE FIRST NIGHT INSTEAD IF I HAD A CHOOSE.
MY SISTER DID THE SAME AS i DID ANDWENT THE LAST NIGHT AND EVERYONE IN HER PARTY GOT MOTION SICKNESS. ONE OF HER FRIENDS DIDN'T EVEN MAKE THOUGH HAVE THE DINNER.

I AM DOING THE FIRST WHEN WE GO IN MAY.:sunny: :teeth: :wave2:

Now that we've done the 7 day, I would definately do Palo on the last night as well. I was afraid of "missing" something or not being there the last night to give our servers their envelopes. I was not impressed with the "Best of..." menu and would've gladly skipped it to do dinner at Palo. We were all aboard the ship by 4:30 at Castaway Cay, had time to relax shower at be at dinner by 6:00pm and we have 2 very slow moving children!

Our main dining servers were not "excellent". I wanted MIL to end our cruise with something special. Adrina from Palo served a dinner to remember!

Ohhh, we had Adrina for brunch last week! She was great....so helpful and couldn't please us enough!

Definately an "excellent" server.

We did Palo's on the last night...we had no choice and wished we had done it earlier. By the end of the vacatio we had eaten so much and I was seasick and hardly ate a thing. Plus we were in the process of packing and therefore get our fancy duds out was a process.
